OUR
METHOD
Kyokushin training is not a program — it is a complete system forged over decades.Every session, every drill, every bout is part of a living tradition that transforms ordinary people into extraordinary fighters.

基本
KIHON

Kihon is where every Kyokushin fighter is born. It is the relentless repetition of fundamental techniques — strikes, blocks, stances, and transitions — until they become instinct. The body learns before the mind understands.
Even 10th Dan black belts return to Kihon. That is its power: there is no ceiling, only deeper precision.

Tsuki (Punching) — Oi-tsuki, Gyaku-tsuki, Morote-tsuki

Geri (Kicking) — Mae-geri, Yoko-geri, Ushiro-geri, Mawashi-geri

Uke (Blocking) — Age-uke, Soto-uke, Gedan-barai

Tachi (Stances) — Zenkutsu, Kokutsu, Kiba-dachi

型
KATA

Kata is the encyclopedia of Kyokushin combat, encoded into fluid, purposeful movement. Each form is a conversation between
generations — ancient wisdom made physical.
Practising Kata sharpens focus, refines technique, and builds the rhythm and power needed for real combat. It is meditation in
motion.

Taikyoku Series — The foundational kata for all beginners

Pinan Series — Five kata that bridge beginner and intermediate

Tensho — “Rotating Palms” — A crown jewel of Kyokushin

Advanced Kata — Sushiho, Kanku, Garyu and beyond

組手
KUMITE

Kumite is where theory ends and reality begins. Full contact sparring strips away pretence and exposes who you truly are — then
rebuilds you stronger.
At the Academy, Kumite is conducted with respect and controlled aggression. You will be challenged. You will be tested. You will
grow in ways no other training can produce.

Ippon Kumite — One-step sparring for beginners

Jiyu Kumite — Free sparring for all intermediate+ levels

Competition Kumite — Tournament-prep training for fighters

Knockdown Rules — The true Kyokushin full-contact format
“The most important thing in Karate-Do is that you practice it as a way of life — not just a sport.”

THE BELT
SYSTEM
Every rank in Kyokushin represents real capability earned through sweat, persistence, and
honest testing. There are no shortcuts to the black belt — and that is exactly the point.

WHITE BELT
purity and potential
The beginning. Empty cup. Open mind.
Every master started exactly here.

ORANGE BELT
10th and 9th Kyu
Basic techniques take shape. The student begins to move with intention.

BLUE BELT
8th and 7th Kyu
Confidence grows. Kata deepen. First taste of controlled Kumite.

YELLOW BELT
6th and 5th Kyu
Technique becomes instinct. Sparring
intensifies. Character is tested.

GREEN BELT
4th and 3rd Kyu
The fighter emerges. Competition
preparation begins in earnest.

BROWN BELT
2nd and 1st Kyu
Elite level. Mentoring juniors begins. Black belt horizon visible.

BLACK BELT
Yudansha
The final threshold. A promise made before the test that cannot be failed.

THE CODE OF
KYOKUSHIN
OSU
PERSEVERANCE
Osu is the sound of perseverance. Said at every bow-in, bow-out, every challenge and every achievement. It is the spirit that keeps you on the floor when your body wants to stop.
礼
RESPECT
Rei — respect — is the foundation of Budo. In our
dojo, it flows in every direction: junior to senior, senior to junior, all to the dojo itself. Without respect, there is no martial art.
誠
SINCERITY
Makoto — sincerity — means training honestly.
No shortcuts. No excuses. Face your
weaknesses and train through them. The dojo
does not reward performance; it rewards truth.
